Dave Donohue, P.G. is the President for 2012. Dave is a hydrogeologist and the Helena office manager for HydroSolutions Inc. He received his BA in Geology from the University of Montana and worked in the mineral exploration field for some time before returning to grad school at Montana State University. Dave taught high school science in a rural Montana town for 4 yours and then re-entered the consulting field, moving to Helena with his family in 1990. Water rights, water resource management, groundwater contamination, and NEPA projects are the current focus of his work, along with clean water projects in Uganda. Dave is enjoying his experience as an AWRA officer and encourages other professionals to get involved with the State organization.
