Utah Section Annual Conference - May 11, 2010 Salt Lake City, UT
The AWRA Utah Section is pleased to announce our 2010 Annual Conference! This single day conference will be held on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 and will be centered around the theme "Working Together: Cooperating to Address Utah's Water Challenges". Historically, the resolution of difficult water issues in the state has required significant negotiation, compromise, and cooperation among the various stakeholders involved. However, the strain on budgets caused by the current economic situation coupled with ever-competing interests for this valuable, limited resource has pressed the need for cooperation to new heights. Come join us for an informative discussion from Utah's leading water professionals regarding Utah's current water challenges and how cooperation among the various interested parties is facilitating resolution to some of these difficult issues.
The conference will be held at the University of Utah in the Varsity Room of the Rice-Eccles Stadium Tower. The conference registration fee is $60 for members, $75 for non-members, and $15 for full-time students. The registration deadline is May 5th, so register now!
